I think you need to move the whiskers down just a teeny bit..otherwise...spot on, as usual! I love them!

They remind me of the cats we had growing up on the farm. He had about 4 or 5 of them, and when we were opening the cat food cans, they would all stand grouped together like that just waiting, kind of worried that they wouldn't be first.

I love your kitties. I wouldn't change a thing. I do like the mouse idea.

Didn't read everyone's replies, but my opinion is the handspun plaid or checked sashing to see if you get a retro look. If you have checked or plaid scraps, try that for just one or two blocks to see what happens. Whatever you do, it's going to be great. Make sure you post pics of the finished product in the Pictures section so we can all see it. Sometimes that's all I have time to check, besides my PDA's for a few days. Good luck...stay warm ...........

Idea: How about a ball in the border and you can use narrow bia tape for the yarn that has unrolled from the ball. Use different colors for the 4 sides. Just a thought. Please post a photo when you get your cats done. I would love to see it.
