WONDERFUL! I started one years ago and put it away. I have to get it out again now that you have inspired me. Mine is big enough to make an elongated pillow for the couch. Think I will do that and then start another one.

thank you all. most of it is hand stitched. i thought about making it a wall hanging but it's too heavy for that. have run out of material need to get to hobby lobby for more.

I agree in that this is a very ambitious pattern to start out with! Looking good. Kudo's to you for trying this. I am too intimidated by it to try. Can't wait to see it completed. Are you logging the hrs you spend on it?

It will be beautiful, I think the off white curvy things around the colored parts need be sewn done. Just the way I have seen them done. Eddie from this board has a tutorial in that section on this topic.
