Very Nice ! I have two on my sofa from my grandmother and mother. Someday, I hope to make a few. My Grandmother made each granddaughter a cathedral window quilt full-sized(5 in all). My mother felt bad that my brothers didn't get one, so she made 2. But by the time, she got the second one done, her new daughter-in-law had returned all previous quilts and afghans, expressing her opinion that "they" didn't fit in her home. So my mother kept that cathedral window quilt too.

You said exactly how I felt after I finished a pillow with the Cathedral Windows pattern. I'm sure it is a lot quicker by machine but mine was done 30 years ago by hand. Never again!

Great idea! I've always loved that pattern too but I'm not willing to invest that much time into making a quilt.

I can't imagine returning a quilt. Well...at least she didn't just drop it off at goodwill or whatever.
