Thread: A Challenging One For Me

    This was a challenging pattern for me when I first started it. I had only been quilting for 3 years, but as I took my time and saw it coming together I was glad I had attempted the pattern. It's called Gettysburg.

    My husband would love that, he has every movie about Gettysburg known to man. Beautiful quilt, nice colours.

    I think the corners & outer borders bring your center blocks more into focus & it really looks like the Civil War quilts; however it's unique. Keep up the great work.

    Thanks for all the nice compliments. I really like the cheddar fabric in this quilt. The fabric is Jo Morton and was already chosen for the pattern so that part of the quilt was easy!
