I like the idea that others gave about just saying 'forever'. With the heart 'love you' is redundent.
Either quilt is pretty. I don't know how true the colors are in the pictures, but if you do #1 you will need to make the letters just a little darker, as looked washed out in the picture.
This quilt will be really nice when you finish it.

Ok, with all your wonderful suggestions, here is what I have come up with...I'm taking out the Love You as Forever speaks for itself. Changed the color of Forever, but I can change my mind. what I will do is make the top first, lay fabric options on the top, to see which color will look better for the lettering, but not over power the wall hanging.
Someone asked how I was going to put the lettering onto the wallhanging, I will be appliquing them on..using steam-a-seamII which will allow me to place and replace them until I like the layout then iron them down and zigzag around them... The colors are almost exact to the fabric I'm using. Also this is being made to for my Fiance'. Thanks for everyone taking the time to look and suggest....Quilty Hugs to all :-)

I love #1. Just the word "forever". Great idea.
I also like that the letters are quite pale - I'd expect in the finished quilt you will see the heart design first and then when you stop for a closer look you discover the word.
