Beautiful! I love all the colors. It has a real tropical feel to it. I hope you decide to finish it soon because I'd love to see it done.

Gorgeous quilt!! (Us non-mathy people want to know how big the rectangle quilt is -- approximately  )

i love the colour balance of the top. What colours are you doing to use to finish it?

The layout was fairly random. I would sew 2 blocks together, press, and then pick blocks to make the seams nest. Then groups of 4, I would pick blocks to make the seams nest, not really worrying about the color. I tried to keep identical blocks apart, but I have 2 that ended up right by each other. But that's randomness :)

No clue! Heh, my rule is when I get sick of quilts to set them aside. I usually get much better results when I work with it later. I'll see something and go "oh, that would be perfect for the quilt I started 2 years ago" and then I pick it up and work on it

I really like the idea, and am saving those pictures, just probably not for this one. For all the sewing and matching points I did for this, I really don't want to start cutting it up again... heh, I really appreciate your pictures and have a few quilts that would be good for :)
