Charmayne sent me her quilt for longarm quilting.

The good thing about scrappy quilts is that when we make them we think of all the great projects we make out of fabric..or maybe why we bought a fabric and it didn't make the cut into another project...or we bought a piece of fabric and we haven't used it for anything....or we use the leftovers from the other lovely projects we've made. SO scrappy quilts conjure up memories for us.

Anyway...chose to stipple as the background filler...ribbons, flowers and feathers as add ins.

    I used Hobbs polydown batting.

I quilted this on my INNOVA. NO pantograph or computer quilting. Thanks for looking.

Another work of art times two! I especially love the little flowers in some of the hearts.

It is a beautiful quilt. You always make them look great with your quilting. The feathered border makes it special and the meandering doesn't detract from the patchwork. I use this combination all the time. It always looks great especially when someone doesn't want to spend a lot on the quilting
