Eleven years ago in May I lost a grandchild to a congenitial heart defect. This year for CHD awareness week which is the 7-14th of February my daughter asked me to make a rememberence quilt that is being sent to a lady who lost her daughter a year ago to a CHD she is collecting these quilts and taking them to the local NICU. Here is a picture of the quilt. CJsmomma did a tutorial on arrowhead block this is made from that tutorial.

Cheryl I love it!! You did a wonderful job. It will be loved by a lucky child.

I am sorry for your loss! It is hard to lose a child.

I am working with our local chapter for CHD called Tymeless Hearts. But they don't want my quilts. So I will be selling them at their carnival in June to help raise money.
My DH was born with hole in his heart but over time it closed up.
