    I know this will be beautiful. How large is it? My son is really into birds and he loves Eagles. Can you get the pattern on her site? Looking forward to seeing your finished project. BrendaK

    The quilt is 60" round.

    Here is a photo of the body - now for the hard part - appliqué!

    Wow, what an interesting pattern! Round quilts - something completely new for me... Please excuse my (stupid) question, but I was wondering what one does with a round quilt? I guess it's not exactly working as a lap quilt, so are round quilts wallhanging? If yes, how do you hang a round one? (I did read some instructions online about how to hang quilts, however, I doubt that they would work for a round one)

    I first thought this was maybe paper piecing, but then saw from Yellow Bird it's strip piecing....I'm doubly impressed!!

    What to do with a round quilt - yes to a wall hanging. They may also be used as a topper for a bed. I've done both.
