This quilt was a guinea pig for learning how to fmq. I plan to donate it to our local sewing circle. It has been fun learning how to fmq, applique, and ue the 1/2 inch binder foot. The foot worked like a charm ONCE I learned how to use it. (It helped to starch the binding material.)
Practice makes perfect?

This foot is compatible with Janome MC 6500P, 6600P, 7700QCP, 1100, 1100 Special Edition.
There are smaller versions of this foot that make 1/4 inch binding that you can get for other kinds of machines. I have one of these smaller versions that work on my deceased mother's Singer 501 machine.
