Really beautiful. How do you know how much fabric you will need or do you buy a whole lot and hope for the best. How long did it take you to decide which square to put where? It's just gorgeous!

Your quilt is fantabulous! It just boggles my mind that a piece of fabric like that can come out looking like your quilt with all the different blocks. I have two pieces of fabric I want to try this with but am afraid to cut up the fabric. Hope mine turns out even a little as good as your.

It's just a matter of figuring out how often the pattern repeats on the fabric and purchasing enough to make the hexagons or octagons. The book is really helpful for all of this. It was so much fun!
