Thanks, thats the site where I got the idea from. I am going to work on mine this weekend since its suppose to rain here.


My finished size of the blocks was 1 1/2 by 4 3/4, but that's because my machine doesn't change from 1/2 seams. (It's an older machine, to do 1/4, I have to draw lines because the feet don't help then.) The patterns I have seen online are usually 5 x 2 finished. My borders are 2 1/4 finished, and the whole quilt ended up at 47 1/2 x 38.

Love it! Twenty four years ago I made my daughter, before she was born, a Jacob's ladder quilt in peach, teal and brown. Funny how teal is her favorite color!
