    Default Chloe's Colors Cwilt

I made this quilt for my grand niece's third birthday. It is a ticker tape raw edged appliqué quilt that I was inspired to make after seeing it called Bottled Rainbow on a blog I read. It started by collecting a variety of colors through a rainbow charm swap and grew from there. I traced her hand and clustered several in a variety of colors to frame her name. It was fun to make, but a one time only quilt. I hope she uses it as her take me to the beach or lay on the grass by the pool quilt. There are lots of fun images to look at. Because it is raw edge appliqué there are bits of thread everywhere. I am busy trimming those and hope the shedding does eventually stop.
