I really like it - I looked at the tutorial and I was a little intimidated but you did it. Are you going to add decorative stitches - like a crazy quilt? I think it will be a very nice wallhanging. Good job.

The tutorial was pretty easy to follow. If I were going to do it again, I'd follow the instructions and start with larger squares than I did so I'd be able to get a full fabric rotation. It bugs me a little that I wasn't able to get one of each fabric in all the blocks. I thought about decorative stitching, too, but...I don't think I want to try by machine because some of the seam intersections are really thick and I know I don't want to do them by hand :)

Love how the purple just popped your blocks. Very lovely. Black sashing will look very nice. Can't wait to see the quilt when you finish it.

I'm feeling good about it, too. Won't be able to work on the sashing and borders until the end of July, but will post more pictures as I make progress. I really appreciate all the feedback and support you guys have given me!

I THINK EVERY BLOCK NEEDS A SPLASH OF THAT BRIGHT BLUE/PURPLE FABRIC IT MAKES YOUR BLOCKS SING
