Thank you for sharing these pictures. Your home looks so inviting. Makes you want to sit there with the Christmas tree lights on, drinking hot chocolate and enjoying all your beautiful Christmas decorations.

How large are each of the hexagons in the flower garden?

Looking at your quilted home showing Christmas love, I could smell Christmas, hear the music, and feel the warmth of the fireplace.

Sounds wonderful---you must have a very large home to entertain 75 people. Your home is very beautiful in the pics.

One side of the hexagon is 1 1/2" in cut length and when sewn the side is 1" in length. Fairly easy to sew at this size. I did not do English paper piecing. I just cut and sewed right sides together.

Once again, I have to say thank you all for your very nice comments. I really was hopeful others would post how they use their quilts as I love getting new ideas for decorating.

The time I enjoy all of this the most is right now - at midnight - when it is just me and the cat and not another creature is stirring. I just sit back and take it all in for a while before I turn the lights out and go crawl into bed.

Merry Christmas!
