    I'm going to take my chances with them and hope for the best. I made a quilt tablecloth for Thanksgiving last year and was going to cover it with vinyl but decided to take my chances and lucked out with no spots or spills. I did also make matching coasters (which I am doing for the placemats) and that helps with glass drips. I told everyone before we ate last year to keep in mind that I was going to embroidery the name by the stain of the person who created it. lol

    I started with an 8 inch length of each color and all strips were 1 1/4" but this could be adjusted for a table runner.

    These are on my to do list! I go through my quilt magazines for Christmas ideas and use the little sticky tabs to mark pages. I think I will have to live to be 150 to get all of them done!!
