Love your idea of lots of strikes with the bowling quilt! It is quilted just perfect ! Great ideas...it looks loved already!

Funny story about this quilt. He slept under it one night, then ask my DD how he goes about storing it. DD asked if he didn't like it or was it too warm. He answered it was perfect but a handmade quilt needs to be a family heirloom so it needs to be stored to pass on to their kids. DD nearly fell on the floor laughing. She let him know my quilts are meant to be used so now it is back on the bed. Made me laugh.
