Default Christmas quilt - wip

I had this idea for a Christmas quilt, started it and put it away. Now it is seeing the light of day once again. The background fabric is sparkly as are some of the fabrics used in the hearts. They are now ready to applique onto the background. My design drawing is very simple. It will be a king size 97x110 1/2. All I have to do is decide what color of sashing I want to use---decisions, decisions, decisions...

This will be gorgeous! Are you hand appliqueing the hearts? Lots of work but nice for watching TV...lol.

Yes, I am going to hand applique the hearts onto the background. I have no idea how long it will take, but well worth it I hope.

This is going to be spectacular! Is your timeline this December? Also, are you keeping it? I am really looking forward to seeing it all finished.

Yes, I am going to keep it. I will try for this Dec. but it all depends on how often I can work on it as I have lots of quilt tops to sandwich and machine quilt before the end of the year.

This will be one special quilt. Love seeing your plan and your first few blocks.
