I just used black fabric that I had embroideryed the white animals on.I love love making quilts with black.But, it is hard on the eyes. But black just makes colors even just white pop off the quilt.

Those are all gorgeous quilts. I really like the first one. I've never seen one like it. The plaid look is really unusual.

Doesn't it feel good to have someone love the quilts you make? Ther sure look happy!! BTW, I have that same angel mantle scarf as in pic 2.
