Billy,
Thanks for sharing your finds. We all like to see new things.
As a quilter I can't see how she could make them for 2 dollars each. Maybe she just likes making them.
Glad to hear you are doing better. I would say Praise the Lord you are doing well.

I honestly think that the lady was doing it for the fun of it. Kinda like me I could not sell any of my quilts but I can give them away all day long and not bother me a drop. Maybe that was how she paid for the booth and the material if she had to buy it. But you can tell she really knew how to use an embroidery machine I am really awestruck at how good the stockings look. I know that my wife will love them for many years to come!

These were the cutest stockings I had ever seen and were hand made by the lady selling them.
I paid $2 each for them!!!
They are all handmade and embroidered with a lining on the inside. How she was making money on them I have no idea but they are beautiful and she did some really nice work. She also had some utilitarian hand tied quilts for $10 and I started to get a couple of them just because they were so wonderfully made and I liked the fact that I could enjoy them for years to come. I have some photos of the yard sale and the tons of things I came home with from there but I will make that another post.
