It will be gorgeous when done for sure! I have used the bias tape also with a double needle when sewing. I will keep you in prayer as complete your project. What a work of love for your church family!

I am so impressed by the magnitude of your project and your unceasing devotion to it. It will be something to see when it's finished. Even more impressive in person, I would imagine. Thanks for sharing it with all of us!

By the look of your picture (the 'avatar' little personal picture on posts), you are very capable and have had practice with applique. Batiks are such a nice choice for this project! Have fun!
