I think so because there are so many fabrics (18) to get a good shading, cutting accurately, not only for the strips but the wedges 36 of them. Sewing the wedges together has to be accurate also so the circle lays flat one done.
One thing about this you have to sew enough strips together, you end up with enough to made two circles. I had enough of these fabrics to make four quilts, traded one to my quilter for quilting and gave away the other three.
