    Civil War reproduction Courthouse Steps

When I saw this in a log cabin book I could not imagine how it could be a version of a log cabin! It really is made the same way.

I surprised myself when I saw your quilt... I usually shy away from the log cabin patterns. Don't really know why, but after seeing yours. It is now on my to-do list... Thanks for sharing

I love your quilt. Very warm and mellow with great fabrics just in keeping with the chosen block pattern. Great job.

Your log cabin is really something special with all those mellow fabrics. I love piecing log cabins.

I've always been a fan of CourtHouse Steps. Yours is lovely, the fabric combination is perfectly suited to the pattern.
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

I really do like how this quilt came out. You did a great job selecting values and on your placement. I love how the finished assembled blocks form a diamond pattern. It is such an inviting looking quilt and so classic with the civil war repros.

That was the first log cabin quilt I saw years ago and fell absolutely in love with the design, I too adore civil war reproduction fabrics so have been trying to collect enough to make a bed quilt. Your quilt is fabulous everything about it is awesome.
