Looks like the start of something really colorful and pretty. So glad the storm wasn't too bad for you and your family.

Very good idea. I have been working with scraps. I have way too much large pieces of fabrics, but the scraps are becoming my favorites.

Look what you did with all the great "fabric" that you almost discarded.

Glad you made it through Matthew with little trouble. Your fabrics are wonderful and it looks like a fun project.

so what day is trash day in your area? I usually trash pick after midnight. LOL. No, really, I love your new "fabric". Are the dryer sheets easy to rip away? do they gum up your needle? I never tried them.

What a great idea! I have alwys thought dryer sheets would make a great inexpensive stabilizer. This is so colorful.

No no, don't use new dryer sheets lol. the ones I use have already been used and have nothing in them. In fact they even have been ironed. I don't rip them away. they just stay as they are so thin. Remember, when doing foundation piecing, if it's paper, you tear it off, if it's a fabric background, you leave it on, usually muslin is used. Normally the muslin will make the quilt heavier but with the dryer sheets it's very light.
