A friend showed me how to do the label. yes the class was fun - so many wonderful ladies go to my LQS for classes of all kinds. i'm going to post a pic of a single block for this quilt in case any of you want to do it. every block is made identical, 35 in all for mine. just make more blocks if you want a bigger quilt. these are all 3" squares and i took this class because i wanted to learn how to use thangles for the HST's, my first time at that and that is so neat to learn. i really liked using them. there are 5 different ways to put these blocks together to make 5 different looks to the quilt, this is just the way that chose to do it. i guess that's where the quilt got its name "I LIKE IT LIKE THAT". it's a fun one to do, so here's the pic.

What method did you use for the HSTs? I like placing two squares one light and one dark (or whatever you combination is) right side to right side. Draw the line diagonally and sew 1/4 inch on both sides of the line, then cut on the line. Thanks for the closeup. I LOVE THOSE COLORS.

gailG, have you ever used thangles? i used to make hst's the way you just decscribed, but with thangles you don't have to use any math to figure what size to cut your triangles, the thangles have it figured for you, just buy the thangles (which are cheap) for the size square you need.
