The Cobbler's Kids....

I do but they were all given to me. I usually give all of mine away. Speaking of which, I have volunteered to make a patriotic quilt for the American Legion which my husband and I belong to. Do ya'll have any ideas on something that wouldn't take too long to piece?

Is that the string quilt you posted recently? Beautiful colors. Was it a quilt-as-you-go? Nice having it be reversible, too.

i am the only one here who is lacking a home made quilt. all four kids have one and dh has one. my parents also have one and so does my grandmother and my brother. i will get to making me one sooner or later. i have a seperate stash of fabrics that are MINE for when i get to the project. they don't necessarily all go together but they are all ones i just love and can't bring myself to cut up for anyone else but me.

I actually have one on my bed I did about 20 years ago, it is
a sampler I made from a class I took. Other than that....I don't.
But I am planning on making my husband a quilt next year, then
making us a big quilt for our bed after that....projects...in my head anyway.
