    I really like your rooster quilt. I like the idea of incorporating panels and portions of panels into projects. They might be short cuts (I don't regard them as cheaters), they just have a different feel and look in a project. I know your gift will be loved.

    The red sashing makes it perfect! The flange binding by machine is my new favorite to do option to get something finished quickly.
