    I have a big top put together and now I'm not sure how to finish it. What did you use for batting and backing? Did you send it out or quilt it yourself? Do you have a long arm?

    That's really nice. I'm sure I would hesitate about making another big one, but this one was worth it I'm sure.

    I used Warm and Natural batting and I think about nine yards of a soft print for the backing. I forgot to say that this is my first large quilt to make and the first on my longarm. I learned alot on the longarm and alot more to learn. I didn't do any fancy stitching just meandering but pretty close together as we use it everyday. I have only made two lap quilts and they were quilt as you go but this has me hooked!!!!
