Thank y'all for the kind words. This one was a bear to quilt. It's the first and last time I use wool batting. Kudos to y'all who use wool. My Juki 201q did not like it. I tried to stick to similar colors as the sampler. If it used red and blue, I used whatever red and blue I had closest to it. I figured they had already worked out which block went next to which block, I just followed along. Completely from my stash.

Love the way it turned out. I love wool batting but all wool batts are not created equal. Maybe yours wasn't a great one.

I wondered about that. This one was Hobbs Heirloom, do you have a favorite one? I purchased it from a friend so I don't know how long she had it.
