Thank you everyone for your kind comments. :!:
Since it was made for a co-worker's daughter:
Her dad reported in that the little girl loves it and took it right away and snuggled in. (All that flannel-and it has been so cold!)

He also commented that it matches her bedroom and bed-guess it was a happy accident! ( I have not met the little girl. )

He also said the mom was in awe. He had to convince her that I made it. (I find that hard to believe-it was a quick job and I almost didn't give it to them because there is a place on the binding that didn't line up like I wanted it to. I am my own worst critic!) I guess it is a good thing I gave it to her anyway. She loves it in spite of its flaws!!

Your comments inspired me to keep on working on a baby quilt for someone. It's my second try at something nice but I'm just not feeling like it's worth giving away. You have inspired me to finish it and go ahead and give it to the baby. RIGHT!!! I am my own worst critic too. Thanks

Adorable quilt! Amazing what inspires our work! What is the detail on the butterflies? Looks like fabric paint. Is it or was it in the fabric to start with? Just curious.

Beautiful Quilt. Sometimes just doing a little to make a panel bigger is all you need. And knowing that she loves it, and it also matches her colors, be very proud of yourself.
