My granddaughter's friend just lost her Dad last month, he died in his sleep at age 42. She is 20 years old and has 2 little boys, she is so much in shock ; I thought a quilt would give her some comfort. I will be dropping it off today to her.

Very nicely done and so kind of you to think of her in grief. I think the pattern used is called Square within Square 2 by www.quilterscache.com.

There is nothing as comforting in the time of such sadness than for a concerned friend to step forward in reach out in love in a tangible way. Your quilt is perfect in every way and I also thing butterflies just typify feeling of hope. Wonderful quilt.
