They are for when you take the little ones out and about, you can put them on grocery carts or high chairs when you go out to eat, so they dont touch the nasty stuff thats on them. They make great gifts. My friend absolutely loved it!

I am soo glad you posted your picture. i've seen the kits in joanne's and didn't want to spend that much. but, gee, i think i can make that just by 'barging ahead"..
and if the leg opening was in the middle, it should cover the handle also..... and should, cause the kids try to slober on it sometimes.....

My mom bought the pattern. Much cheaper to buy the pattern and then the fabrics you want. It covers the entire part where the kids sit in carts and highchairs.

Thanks for sharing. Will try to find a pattern cause both my girls have babies. May get one for Grammy for when I take the grandbabies shopping with me.
