Sorry about your flooding and what a terrible mess to have dealt with. Good news your DH is recovering and is able to help you out with the cooking. It is so important for him to be moving and feeling needed. As always you do great quilting and this quilt looks like it was lots of fun to be creative with. It is a very pretty sampler and wish I could see all of your inventive quilting

Had great fun on the treasure hunt for the canning jars but finally found them, only to be disappointed that I can't enlarge the pic and see the frog. What a neat quilt!

Sounds like you had your fair share of trials and tribulations then what a beautiful ending. Love your sampler. SEnding prayers to help you both recover. You're both on your way.

SO sorry to hear about your flooding troubles. I know, that adds up to a lot of frustrating work. Best wishes for your hubby, glad to hear he is on the mend and lending a hand in the kitchen.

The quilting is so beautiful! I love the little surprises, that is so clever and adorable...great job, I'm sure your friend will be delighted! I would be!

Looks great!! I am making this same quilt now using vintage fabric. Lori Holt, the designer, has a wonderful book "Farm Girl Vintage" with this quilt in it that I just love, each block has a 6" and a 12" pattern. Cute idea about the frog, eggs and chicks. Love it.
