County Fair

I entered this quilt in our County Fair and won 3rd place. A Bargello won first place and it was gorgeous!!! I really thought I'd place second since mine was all quilted by hand so I was a little disappointed but there's always next year!!

You should be very happy with a win of any kind because there are many other that went home without a ribbon. Yours is beautiful and is a first winner in your list of quilts. Is there a separate category for hand quilting? If not there should be. Keep up the good work.

I've been saying for years, there needs to be two seperate catagories, hand and machine quilting.

I always prefer hand quilted quilts. When machine quilting first came out, they displayed them in a certain section. Now I would like to see hand quilted quilts have their own section.
