I love that Pearl finish. Love it. How's she sew? Who manufactured her for Kenmore?
The Kenmore sews like a brand new one, it was hardly ever used other than darning and making a table cloth or two. When I pulled her down to clean and service her she did not have any lint or dust anywhere, really was a nice surprise!

The machine was manufactured in Japan by Maruzen Jaguar and they badged them for Sears. Not long after this machine was produced they changed their company name to just Jaguar and badged machines for White along with Kenmore.

Well, you sure do good work for someone who has made only three quilts. They both look great.

In the second pic----the quilt with the orange/brown colors--- what is the pattern called?

Very nice quilts! Did you do the quilting on your home machine or did you do it on a long arm?

Your quilts are wonderful and I love seeing the older machines. Are you sure you're a 'newbie'? I have a 15-91 in a cabinet that looks similar as it has the tension in the back. It has a perfect straight stitch. Will have to start looking for an older Kenmore.

Its called Natural Beauty and it is in the March 09 The Quilter Magazine.

I did it on my Universal 15 and it was treadled. I am looking to get an industrial like a Singer 29 or something along those lines so I can have the long arm, but I have a friend that all she ever uses is her Model 15 and she does this for a living.
