I don't pre-wash but I do make a care label, asking them to wash in cold water...and yes, I used wide flannel backing, and used ultra lite batting...still makes a heavy winter quilt. Previous projects have all washed well.

Looks good. Do you have a formula for where you make the ties, and what string or yarn do you use? I have tied one baby quilt for another quilter, and it just about crippled my hands.

I did find it, but wanted to know the size of the actual flowers on the pattern. Superior Thread has about 6 yds! Thanks for reply!

I can see why you didn't want to give it away. It's such a pretty quilt & so inviting....saying "come cuddle under me"!
