I completely agree. I kept looking to see if I was missing something that made it creepy. I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks it is cute.

Actually it looks like the cat is hiding behind the block!

Beauty through the eyes of a child! Make sure you keep it for her, so when she is older she has a good laugh and memory of the creepy cat....

I think the eyes are what makes it creepy - try different color buttons for the eyes and maybe embroider a mouth for it? I don't think it's creepy at all though.

I'm not quite sure why she wanted it though - what's she going to do with a 12" cat? lol

Lol. I kinda see what you mean, but I don't think it's ugly.... I think maybe if the eyes were darker buttons?? and maybe add a nose and some whiskers??

or it meows.

or demands to be fed.

The verdict is in.... When I tucked the kids into bed tonight, my son asked where his dog blanket was so I have to make one for him now. My daughter said, "Momma... you're the best quilt maker in the whole world." <3

Normally when folks put up those posts that refer to an ugly quilt I find myself saying, hey that doesn't look so bad. But.... on this one I have to agree. But it is so ugly it is cute, you know that kind of ugly only a mother could love. I love the wonky button eyes.
