just finished this baby cacoon this afternoon. I made it a little larger so baby can use it longer. The stitches are all HD crochet in the body of it.

The baby girl is due in November and will live in Alaska. I'm also going to make an all white baby blanket with white ribbon around the edge for her, doing a shell stitch.

She is coming to her mothers next door, as she is flying in to a hospital 2 hours away from us for a special test (3 D echogram) on the baby and so her mother will give her a baby shower the 13th of August while she is here.

Hubby and I moved here just before her 6th birthday and watched her grow up. Now she will soon be 28.

I guess I need to apologise. I meant to put this on the knitter/crochet forum and messed up. I do appreciaate your taking time to look at it and make a comment. I've been wanting to make one for awhile and finally got the opportunity. Sorry I messed up and got it on he wrong forum. I'll get over to the knitter place and post there. HUGS TO ALL

It's adorable. Don't apologize. I've posted pics here of items I've crocheted. I don't know about anyone else, but I love seeing all handmade items.

I'm always looking for crochet patterns. I think a lot of us do many crafts and enjoy looking at other things beside quilting. Thanks for the cute idea.

Would love the pattern also - I also do all sorts of crafty things and love to see all kinds. Didn't even know there was a knitting/crocheting site.

    New Baby Coming

You have no reason to apologize; all beautiful works need to be shown. You are a wonderful lady to make such a divine gift for your 'Mommy-to-Be'. Thank you for sharing the picture and the story behind it. It's gorgeous.
