My University of Michigan Wolverine friends and family who see the world in maze and blue, would be drooling over this one. The paper piecing made it perfect!. Congratulations on a superb finish.

You made such a lovely quilt! Some of the fabrics look like sparkly stars against a midnight sky. I love blue & yellow together and this one is so serene and peaceful! I've never PP and you mastered it beautifully!

Love it without the sashing. Beautiful quilt.

I grew up in Midland, Michigan and went to Midland High School. Our colors were blue and gold too. Probably no coincidence. My Jr. High (Northeast) our colors were green & white (Michigan State). I never realized the connection till right now. Thanks for the kind words.

I love these fabric colors together. I like the pattern too - it seems have multiple names. Nice work!

Your quilt is so pretty! It has the illisions of circles like my Papa's Delight, old pattern I made a while back. Mine was a lot of curves you had to pin but I ended up with a block with bell shapes and a yellow diamond in the center. When you look at it a while, you see the circles, like yours. Your crossed Kayaks but stare and see the circles, a two for one look!

Such a pretty quilt! I always knew this pattern as crossed canoes. It has been on my list of to do's for a very long time.
