This is a gorgeous quilt and an honor to the person you are making it for. What a wonderful treasure. Thank you for sharing.

How wonderful! Stunning star. I'm sure he will honor it because it's in memorial of your mom and because you felt him worthy of making it for. I can't think of a more wonderful complement than being given a gift because you are you and I/you appreciate you for that. I'm very touched by your sharing the tradition and you carrying through with it in honor of you mom. I'm sure you can feel her smiling at you. GREAT JOB.

    1. I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. That has to be so very painful.

    2. I am so happy that you are making this gorgeous quilt for the person that helped you during that sad and difficult time.

    3. I cannot believe you are a relatively new quilter and have made such a stunning quilt! Goodness girl, it will be over the top gorgeous when you have it all completed. I have faith that you will get it done. You are very talented!
