Hexagons ooooooooooh noooooo I can't do them, I break out in a sweat just at the mere mention of hexagons... now i'm sad :( . I will still order the book but won't run out and do it anytime soon...I checked out your other finish...just beautiful work......

Stop and answer these questions:
Does your ruler have a 60 degree line?
Can you sew a straight line?
Can youi sew a four patch, nine patch, log cabin block?
Can you sew two rows together?
If you answered yes to the above...
You can sew a hexagon block!

LOL well put....I have a 60 degree ruler also...I guess I won't know until I actually buy the book...maybe I will order it today or tomorrow....I can do all the blocks you mentioned...ok ok you have convinced me...not sure when I will get at making one or trying at least...soooo many projects to get done in the next 4 weeks...not to mention my forever wallhanging I need to make for my fiance' for Valentines day as we will be in Hawaii then...

Brenda - I would say the "Encore" book would be better for a first one more than the "Cubed" book - the detail on the concept and construction of the OBW hexagons and quilts, (and also the small cubes) is more fully explained, and the "Cubed" book takes it to the next stage.
