In the interest of saving money, I have never sent one out to be done. I figure that I can sew so I should be able to fumble my way through it. I mainly stitch in the ditch :)

The pattern came from the book The Thimbleberries Book of Quilts. The demo was done in a pinkish red and white and was just too overpowering. I thought with the green it would feel more christmasy and I think it made the pinwheels pop more :)

I would stitch in the ditch around the pinwheels than put a pattern in the solid green squares as well as a pattern in the borders. The quilt is beautiful!
