Great idea! Is the longer strap long enough to sling over the shoulder. Looks easy enough to duplicate the pattern. I love making handbags. I may have to try that one.

I got the fabric from my friend Sherrie so I couldn't tell you where to go to get some of it. It has an Asian influence I'm sure. She was given a lot of fabric & she was especially nice to share with me. She's a great friend & quilting buddy!! :-D

The strap is not really long enough to sling over the shoulder. You would have to modify it some.

I really love the fabric too!! When my friend Sherrie 1st showed it to me It was just about screaming Tote to me. I saw the cute little grab bag pattern & thought it would work perfectly with the material.
