Cutting Table Find today- woohoo!
#35
Sorry to hear that any decent business is gone as well. But, I too find that business furniture can often make the best cutting tables. Your is just what I'm looking for. I want a place to store my bigger bolts of fabric...yours would take care of all my bigger bolts!
What is the top made of? Wood is best if you can get it without sharp points or snags. If you need to sand out any snaggy areas...start with a fine sandpaper (black) if it isn't really rough. If you just have a slightly scratchy feel to a finish..try a brown paper grocery bag...nice last finish paper to smooth things out (use the plain paper side).
I just picked up a yard stick that is really thin in a plastic type material @ Nasco (school supply online) that I plan to mount to the edge of my cutting table when I get one.
