man how do u all find such great craiglist buys!?! Am I searching wrong???
I have been using Craigslist for a few years now & I can tell you that there are a lot of bad spellers out there! It is actually to your advantage if you search with mis-spelled words; as well as correct spelling of course. Many of those listings with unusual terms will be overlooked. Also when you list your items... at the bottom of your page, list every possible word to describe what you are selling. I remember looking for a cabinet, & found cabnets, cabenet, cabnits, as well as many old-time names for various furniture (console, credenza, etc.) that you might even call regional terms. You can always look through all the listings in your area by typing in your town name, and limiting the dollar value as well. Another example is fabric, material, cloth, yardage...it just depends on who is doing the listing how they will put it. Hope you find a gem of your own!
