What a great idea! I know the pattern but have never seen it put together this way - I love it! I looks kind of 3D!

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.

For the original placement of the 9 patch I placed the I Spy squares in each corner, pink squares in postion 2 on row 1 and 3, and position 1 and 3 in row 2. A white square for the center (row 2 position 2). When I cut the nine patch I twisted the top left block and the bottom right block so the white squares were on the outside corner. Hope that makes sense.

What a wonderful way to use the squares. That is one adoreable quilt.
Make another stuffed dog quilt and swap it in the next DQS. It is too cute.
