    I received the rest of the material I needed and was able to finish the dahlia. It took about 3 weekend days to complete it. I have the background fabric washed and dried, still need to iron it, then figure out how I'm going to piece it. I want one piece lengthwise across above the dahlia for the pillow area that will have applique.

    This is for a queen size, 54" round, so it looks pretty big on a double bed. I haven't given it a good ironing yet and the bed is a little fluffy so I hope it lays flatter than it looks.
