As I like to see the texture the quilting makes instead of the thread on the surface, I changed thread color to match the fabrics on the top. But that does allow the quilting threads to show on the backside depending on the backing fabrics. I can't say enough nice things about this customer's piecing. None of the pictures ever do justice to her work. I have quilted several of her tops and everyone of them have been perfectly pieced.
Sorry, but I had to leave the house before I finished telling about this quilt. So, for the rest of the story: this quilt was pieced using the directions from "The Quilter" magazine, March 2008 and May 2008. The quilt in the magazine I believe was designed by Pam Bono and quilted by Mary Nordeng. I do not have the talent of Mary Nordeng so I had to change the quilting designs somewhat to fit what I was capable of stitching. But the inspiration given by Pam Bono and Mary Nordeng certainly made this quilt.

The piecing is beautiful, but the quilting knocks my socks off. You did a marvelous job.
