I am used to working with all kinds of fabrics. I was a factory seamstress for decades and I sewed weddings and home interiors for decades. It is very stretchy and slippery to work with, but after a while you know how to handle it.

So pretty it glistens like the diamonds it has become. Super cuddly I am sure.

Very nice. I remember when Grandma had feather comforters and they were silk on one side and velvet on the other. The only time we ere allowed to use it was when we were really sick and it had "special powers to make you feel better". Truly it did make you feel all warm & snuggly and better.

Very pretty dress and quilt. I can't believe some of the stuff we wore :-) Looking at old pictures makes me howl, sometimes in laughter but sometimes in pain. I've finally decided to get rid of my old patterns and have started posting them for sale. I'll NEVER get back into those sizes!
