daughters quilt

She is definitely her own person, The socks were borrowed from a friend, I can't remember where she said they came from. The quilt went well for the most part, getting it on the table was a learning experience that is for sure, I had to do some reading and some watching of the dvd and then played with it for quiet a while before being satisfied that I had it all on correctly. I am sure the next one will go a lot smoother, I have a lot to learn yet on it. I am hoping to get better and better as I go along. I have half of the embroidery work done for the next quilt and most of the cutting.
Thank you everyone for the compliments. It is good to hear what others think of the work that I do.

Three mats came in a package and I used a 50% off coupon at micheals for it. They have hardware to join them but I figured that they would get in the way. so they are just sitting on the table, They are marked in sequence. Though I usually don't use those for quilting, when I am doing something like curtains or something they come in very handy. I have a 4th board on the end as well. It being a 4x8 table there is a lot of room to spread things out on it. Though there wasn't room to fit the whole quilt out on it but at least there is enough room to get a good idea what it will look like without having it on the floor. The floor in here is always dirty, I can't seem to keep it clean no matter what I do to it.
